years later, gingham has proven it isn't going anywhere, especially for the warmer weather.

I know what you’re thinking, maybe gingham never *really* left, but it definitely lost its traction. However, browsing around stores IRL and online the last few months have proven (at least to me) that the cute picnic table pattern is here to stay.
Before we dive into this, a *gentle* reminder to subscribe if you haven’t already. I promise I don’t spam, and I actually have a lot of fun content lined up, especially catered to summer.
I’ve always been a big fan of gingham (since it became a real fad in 2017), but recently, it hasn’t emerged as a big trend for me. Though with summer in full swing and brands releasing new designs every week, I’m noticing that the pattern is sprinkled here and there — and I’m definitely here for it.
It also definitely helps gingham happens to be one of the biggest and most-talked about brands’ (ahem, Jacquemus) signature patterns.
I’ve seen the pattern pop up a few times in labels such as Solid & Striped, Doen, Reformation, Zara and Frankies Bikinis, just to name a few.
I’ve rounded up a few of my personal picks below for viewing pleasure.
I’m telling you, Reformation is just killing it this summer. Red gingham is especially prominent in their collections, but it seems the classic black-and-white gingham is never a bad idea. Blue gingham is also adorable and very nautical and beachy, which is perfect for the summer.
I did spot a few yellow gingham pieces in Zara the other day, though each store in every country may differ.
