2024 gift guide 🎄❄️
um, where has time gone? anyway, here's my personal roundup of what you should get for your loved ones this year xx
Hi again.
I know, I suck — I emerge once in a blue moon. But I will try my best to post whenever I can! Fortunately, I have good timing and decided to return just in time for the holiday season.
I’ve procured a selection of gifts I hope will be somewhat helpful for your Christmas shopping this year. Again, I’ve tried my best to have most of the prices be somewhat reasonable, spread across a wide selection of items.
I’ve also broken up the “for her” guide into multiple sections because us girls are a little complex like that, so I hope that’s at least slightly informative to other gals, gents and parents alike trying to find something memorable for a special girl (or two, or three) in their life!
Alright, I won’t take up too much of your time. Let’s get into it.

gifts for her: for those who like the simpler things
We all know at least one person who doesn’t like materialistic items or want people to fuss over what to purchase for them. I mean, at times, I am that person. But in cases like these, it’s always the thought that counts. You always want to keep in mind practicality and how often they will use it. That’s why gifts such as pajamas, a claw clip or even a pair of socks (because those always disappear) are almost always helpful. You can even opt for concert tickets, a gift card to their favorite store/restaurant, etc.

gifts for her: for those who like trendy things
Whether she’s a fashionista or social media-obsessed (think Pinterest boards and endless TikTok scrolling), this girl is usually up to date with what’s hot — and she normally wants in. Again, I can say this because I am sometimes also this girl. Items such as a digital camera, fuzzy platform Ugg slippers or even unconventional but cute cocktail glasses can normally do the trick.

gifts for her: for those who have expensive taste
Now, the final category is a difficult one, because you may be dealing with someone who has everything (or someone who just likes exceptionally nice things), and what do you gift someone who might have it all? Things they’re sure to love and use, obviously. A nice cashmere scarf can go a long way, so is a gorgeous hairbrush and even a viral designer lip balm (it’s actually worth it—you’ll use it all the time and it changes color).

gifts for him
I only made one category for men because they’re simpletons and they really may not even need that grandiose of a gift. After all, the biggest gift in their lives is YOU, duh. But alright, give him some practical items, or even indulge him with a nice bracelet or new wallet (because we all know a few guys who definitely need a new one).

gifts for parents
Parents are generally easy, at least in my opinion. They’re always searching for something useful, so items such as pajamas, skincare, a throw blanket or even some homeware would do wonders for moms. Whereas dads, like my statement about men above, are usually pretty straightforward. If you’re anything like my dad, you like comfort and functionality, so a book, anything golf-related (or any sport they like) or even a new pair of shoes (doesn’t have to be Birks) will make them happy.
